How long have you been with Storeys and how has your role evolved in that time?
It will be 3 years in February. I was a Viewing Specialist in my first year, then I came into the office as a permanent member of staff. My role is continuing to evolve now our team is growing, which means I will be able to spend a lot of my time talking to our past, current and potential clients!
What does your typical day look like?
A typical day for me involves a quick catch up with the team first thing. The morning team meeting allows us to run through the properties and delegate daily tasks such as who is talking to who. I answer calls, arrange viewings and speak to our Viewing Specialists. I also go out to see clients 1 week prior to their marketing day to give them advice with styling their property. On the day of the photo/video shoot, I arrive 1 hour ahead to get it ready for the team.
What’s your favourite thing about working with Storeys?
My favourite thing about Storeys is the team. I just love them. I also love my role doing the styling and getting to meet our clients. I am enjoying working in Tarporley and getting to know our local businesses, everyone is so friendly.
Why do you think Storeys stand out above the rest?
Storeys stand out because we care about our clients and really get involved, helping their journey from start to finish run as smoothly as possible.
What is your biggest challenge in your role?
My biggest challenge is the computer work!!!! I am slowly getting the hang of it. Also, with the styling it can be hard convincing the clients to de clutter but when they do their reaction is amazing. I get a lot of job satisfaction from this..
What do you love about Cheshire? Do you have any favourite go-to spots?
I love living in Cheshire, especially having lovely places to walk with my dog, Tia on the doorstep. My favourite at the moment is the Whitegate Way, it’s got a lovely café and serves the most gorgeous sticky ginger cake. I have just got back into horse riding and go for a hack once a month with Nic from the office to Cheshire Riding School. My favourite pub in the area is The Fox and Barrel and also love popping into The Hollies, especially at this time of the year.
