How long have you been with Storeys and how has your role evolved in that time?
Ian and I started the business in 2018.
What does your typical day look like?
Its very varied, I handle all of the HR, legal and finance side of Storeys but also help on the phones getting feedback, booking viewings in, helping Ian and Phil with the valuing, attending photo shoots where required, checking all of our bespoke brochures before they go to print, arranging our team nights out etc, keeping Ian in check! No 2 days are the same which I love.
What’s your favourite thing about working with Storeys?
I’d say our team – having seen Storeys grow from Ian and I working in our cramped spare room to where we are now, with 2 offices in Davenham and on Tarporley High Street – it’s a source of great pride for us but we’re well aware we couldn’t have done it without our team. We also have a good laugh along the way!
Why do you think Storeys stand out above the rest?
We are so passionate about what we do and we think that comes across, we take great care and pride in our marketing and its great when clients tell us they can spot a ‘Storeys house’ a mile off on Rightmove as there’s so much that goes on behind the scenes to make that possible!
What is your biggest challenge in your role?
Probably finding enough time to juggle everything – there’s not enough hours in the day sometimes!
What do you love about Cheshire? Do you have any favourite go-to spots?
We love everything about life in Cheshire, we love local walks along the river or at Delamere, a roast at the Hayhurst, brunch at April’s Kitchen on a weekend and pie, mash and the best gravy on a rainy Sunday at the Nags Head! I’ve now made myself hungry…
