It was our Storeys 3rd birthday earlier in the month and we ran a competition to win a £300 prize!
The prize included; £100 worth of The Hollies Farm Shop vouchers along with a £200 donation to a chosen Cheshire charity.
Andy and his family popped into our office in Davenham today (27.10.21) to collect their Hollies Farm Shop vouchers and to also let us know their chosen charity for the £200 donation, Down Syndrome Cheshire.

Here is a little bit more about the charity …..
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN:
Down Syndrome Cheshire is a small local charity supporting families and children with Down’s Syndrome (DS). The charity was established in 2007 by a group of Cheshire mums who all had babies with Down’s syndrome and has grown from there. We currently support around 200 children and adults with Down’s syndrome and their families as well as community groups, education and health professionals.
WHAT THEY DO:
‘We empower people with Down’s syndrome to live the life they choose.’
Many new parents leave hospital with their child with Down’s syndrome for the first time with little or no information about their child’s diagnosis. This can be a frightening experience and a very emotional time. Down Syndrome Cheshire is continuing to build stronger links with hospitals to provide support for midwives and new parents.
Every family’s experiences are different. We work with parents, carers and schools to provide emotional support, practical training and advice to meet their varying needs.
Whether you’d like to join the group, volunteer, fundraise or help to raise awareness, Down Syndrome Cheshire would love to hear from you.
